Does this mean that all games here will be by 1st edition rules?

That makes the most sense to me - it would be very confusing if DMs could change from edition to edition. And I don't really like the later stuff that much anyway, especially after WoC got ahold of it...

Yes...I have the books for the other editions but I always preferred Ed1.....its the original...what Gygax intended anyway....

Gary Gygax is the Father of Role Playing Games, and in particular Dungeons and Dragons. He is considered a God as fas as us DnD old guys are concerned. If you want to know my put his name into Wiki and have a read.

In relation to SW dice roll, he was testing the dice roll capability of this forum, there is a dice icon above the message that you type, if you click it a drop down list appears and you can select which dice you want to roll and how many of them. A dice roll is auto-generated and you get a response in the forum where you posted the message...it's pretty cool. Dice rolls are used for just about everything in DnD....

I too am an old head I started playing when I was 14 I'm 34 now. I have the 3rd edition books and my character was originally rolled in this manner. I have adjusted him as much as possible if there is anything missing feel free to adjust as needed.

All characters starting in these forum adventures will start at level 1...this will allow players who have not previously played to get up to speed and for more experienced players and admin to make sure the site format works properly

So is that a no he doesn't have psionics.

Cuz first edition had psionics and it was based on Int., Wis., and Cha.

To begin with we will leave Psionics out of the first few adventures, it will only confuse the issue in regards to new players. I have noted Psionics on your character and will let you now. I think once we start the Campaign proper we can revist.

I was only kidding about the psionics... but he can't have psionics anyway cuz he doesn't have high enough scores.
